The program's goal is to recruit and train volunteers to facilitate the process of securing safe and permanent homes for all children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings. Connecticut Parent Information and Resource Center (Statewide)
The Connecticut Parent Information and Resource Center (CT PIRC) services include: family support and resources, training opportunities, and outreach to all families with some programs targeted to those families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Their toll-free line (800-842-8678) provides assistance to families on educational issues related to the No Child Left Behind Act and accountability.
