Welcome to the No Child Left Behind information page of the CT Parent Advocacy Center. In this changing world of education and special education, we hope that this section of our website provides reliable, accurate, and up-to-date information about a variety of issues relating to the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (No Child Left Behind).

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), calls for a radical change to the American Education system as we know it. With the passage of, NCLB, Congress reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)--the principal federal law governing education in the United States. This new law is built on four common-sense pillars:
